The Story: CP Foundation provides diversified environmental improvement projects in rural areas of Taiwan to improve the environment and improve residents' living standards.
The Results: Due to ocean currents and fisheries in Lanyu, a remote island, fishing nets, fishing lines and other wastes easily drift and become entangled on the surrounding seabed reefs, affecting local tourism and fishery ecology. Therefore, CP Foundation hires local divers to carry out seabed waste removal projects during the off-season, manually removing seabed waste to help restore the local environment and ecology and increase the income of local people.
In addition, CP Foundation has also cooperated with the local government of Taichung to donate and build tap water pipes in remote mountainous areas in central Taiwan, so that people in mountainous areas can directly use tap water by turning on the tap, greatly improving the convenience of life.
