Interceptors in Rivers to Trap Flow of Plastics into Ocean
The Project: To help stop the flow of plastic from rivers into the oceans
The Story: We are a local partner of The Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit organisation dedicated to ridding the world’s oceans of plastic. We have been supporting their mission to help stop the flow of plastic from rivers into the oceans. In Thailand, The Ocean Cleanup is deploying one of their river interceptor solutions - The Interceptor Original, in the Chao Phraya river. The Ocean Cleanup is working with local government, operators and foundations like the YP foundation to fight plastic pollution in Chao Phraya River.
